Equipment layout and room schematics

• survey and measure room, with all main items of equipment plotted

Datacentre description and report including photographs

Thermal imaging

• identify hotspots within cabinets, enabling preventative measures to be undertaken to prevent hardware failure
• identify hotspots within electrical infrastructure
• identify other problematic areas, such as hidden heating pipes or air leakage

Temperature and relative humidity logging

• provide graphical data highlighting ambient conditions within the datacentre including minimum, maximum and average temperature and relative humidity within the room over a period of time.

• temperature and relative humidity probing at specific points within the datacentre including cabinet level (at air intake and exhaust) and cooling/return air paths

Airflow readings

• records airflow readings with the room at grille locations
• helps ascertain correct airflow patterns and helps identify blockages or poor areas of performance

Power monitoring and logging

• provides full graphical analysis of power conditions over a set period of time, including load per phase/ph, kW per phase/ph, kVA per phase/ph, summation and total loadings to all above, power factors, snap shot harmonics analysis and waveform captures

Efficiency calculations

• PUE and other efficiency calculations can be made to assess the efficiency of your facility

Lighting levels

• lux readings taken at all workable areas to help ensure that there are safe working conditions for personnel.
